In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 And those that strike violently, 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 separating one from another, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a known calculated term. 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
