Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 storming tempestuously 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what day is it timed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 the living and the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40
