Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 storming tempestuously 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
