Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 separating one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
