Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 storming tempestuously 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 As justification or warning, 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
