Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 and place it in a secure place 21 For a known calculated term. 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 which neither gives shade nor protects one from the flames. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
