Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 by the scatterers scattering 3 separating one from another, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 When the stars shall be extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 and place it in a secure place 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
