Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny; 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 On that Day they will be speechless, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
