Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 and the severally severing 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 and place it in a secure place 21 till a known term decreed? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
