Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To clear or to warn. 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed time? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
