Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To end all argument or to warn. 6 Surely, what you are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is it timed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Destroyed We not the former folk, 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Which We placed in a depository safe. 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
