Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed term? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 And permission shall not be given to them so that they should offer excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
