Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the emissary winds, (sent) one after another 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are carried away by wind. 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a base fluid 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 We determined, how excellent a Determiner are We! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
