In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force! 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 and the severally severing 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 As justification or warning, 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed term? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Proceed to that shadow, rising in three columns 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 40
