O People who Believe! Fear Allah in the manner He should rightfully be feared, and do not die except as Muslims. 102 All of you united hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran and His Messenger), and recall how He favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. He united your hearts in one faith and through His Grace you became brothers. You were on the verge of falling headlong into the abyss of fire, but God saved you. This is how God explains to you His revelations so that you may have the right guidance. 103 So let there be a body among you who may call to the good, enjoin what is esteemed and forbid what is odious. They are those who will be successful. 104 And be not like those who have drawn apart from one another and have taken to conflicting views after all evidence of the truth has come unto them: for these it is for whom tremendous suffering is in store 105 On the Day when some faces would be bright, and some others will be black (with despair), those with black faces (will be told): "Having come to the faith you denied it; now taste therefore the penalty for you disbelieved." 106 And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah's mercy; in it they shall-abide. 107 These are the mes sages of Allah which We recite to you in truth, and Allah desires no wrong to the people of the world. 108 To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And to Allah will [all] matters be returned. 109
