Al-Naba' 2 of 2
Surely the state of triumph awaits the God-fearing: 31 Orchards and vineyards, 32 curvaceous (virgins), of equal age 33 And flasks full and flowing. 34 There hear they never vain discourse, nor lying - 35 for a recompense from thy Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 from the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of that which is between them; the Most Merciful Lord before Whom none dare utter a word. 37 The day when Jibreel and all the angels will stand in rows; none will be able to speak except one whom the Most Gracious commands and who spoke rightly. (Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to be granted permission to intercede.) 38 That is the True Day; therefore whoever wills may take the path towards his Lord. 39 Verily We! We have warned you of a torment nigh at hand, a Day whereon a man shall behold that which his hands have sent forth, and the infidel will say: would that I were dust! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
