The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By [the winds] that pluck out vehemently 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 by the angels who float (in the heavens by the will of God), 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 and by the angels who regulate the affairs, (you will certainly be resurrected). 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 Followed by the second blast, 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 even after we are fragmented bones' 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 and lo, they will all be in the open plain. 14 Has the story of Moses come to you 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'" 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 But he rejected (the truth) and disobeyed. 21 He then turned away, striving in his effort. 22 And he summoned all his people, 23 and proclaimed, "I am your supreme Lord," 24 you pay attention 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26
