The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those (angels) who pull out (the souls of the disbelievers and the wicked) with great violence; 1 by the drawers (the angels of death), gently drawing (the souls of the believers), 2 by those that swim serenely 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the day when the first trumpet sound blasts 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 Their looks will be downcast. 9 They say: "Shall we indeed be returned to (our) former state of life? 10 “When we have become decayed bones?” 11 They will say: 'Then we are returned lost' 12 It will only be a single blast, 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Has there reached you the story of Moses? - 15 His Lord called out to him by the sacred valley of Tuwa: 16 Go to Firon, surely he has become inordinate. 17 And say to him: "Would you purify yourself (from the sin of disbelief by becoming a believer)", 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 Then he quickly turned his back. 22 And assembled (his council) and proclaimed, 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 And thereupon God took him to task, [and made him] a warning example in the life to come as well as in this world. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
