The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who drag forth to destruction, 1 and move [in their orbits] with steady motion, 2 And by those who float in space, 3 and yet overtake [one another] with swift overtaking: 4 Then those who regulate the affair. 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 (Some) hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 after we have become bones and dust?" 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 It will only be a single blast, 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 How his Lord called him in the holy vale of Tuwa, 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 Moses showed him the great sign, 20 but he denied it as false and disobeyed, 21 He then turned away, striving in his effort. 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 And thereupon God took him to task, [and made him] a warning example in the life to come as well as in this world. 25 Verily herein is lesson for him who feareth. 26
