The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 and gently take it away; 2 And who glide with ease. 3 and those that outstrip suddenly 4 And by those angels who arrange to do the Commands of their Lord, (so verily, you disbelievers will be called to account). 5 On the day when the trembling one will tremble. (The disbelievers will certainly taste the punishment.) 6 to be followed by further [convulsions], 7 Hearts that Day will be in agitation; 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 [And yet,] some say: "What! Are we indeed to be restored to our former state 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss." 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface. 14 Hath there come unto thee the story of Musa! 15 Recall what time his Lord called unto him in the holy vale of Tuwa. 16 [saying], "Go to Pharaoh, he has exceeded all bounds, 17 And say (unto him): Hast thou (will) to grow (in grace)? 18 Then I shall guide thee unto thy Lord so that thou shalt fear. 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 Yet he belied and disobeyed. 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 Then he collected (his men) and made a proclamation, 23 And proclaimed: "I (Pharaoh) am your Lord the Highest." 24 Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present. 25 Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah]. 26

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
