By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 By the angels who glide swimmingly, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And direct affairs by command, 5 Upon the day when the first blast shivers 6 There will follow it the subsequent [one]. 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 Their looks will be downcast. 9 They say: "Shall we go back to our original state 10 What, when we are bones old and wasted?' 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 So that is not but a single shout. 13 And lo! they all shall appear on the surface. 14 Has Moses' story reached you? 15 Recall what time his Lord called unto him in the holy vale of Tuwa. 16 saying 'Go to Pharaoh, he has become exceedingly insolent, 17 And say, "Hast thou the will to purify thyself; 18 Then I will guide thee to thy Lord and thou shalt fear (Him). 19 Then did (Moses) show him the Great Sign. 20 But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed. 21 and then he turned back to have recourse to his craftiness, 22 then, he gathered, proclaimed, 23 and proclaimed, and he said, 'I am your Lord, the Most High!' 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Indeed in this is a lesson for one who fears. 26
