The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 And [by] those who remove with ease 2 by those that swim serenely 3 And then they speed with foremost speed. 4 by those that direct an affair! 5 On the Day, the shiverer shivers 6 to be followed by further [convulsions]! 7 hearts will be throbbing, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 They shall say, 'What, are we being restored as we were before? 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They say, "That, then, would be a losing return." 12 It will be only one scaring shout, 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 "Go unto Pharaoh - for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of what is right 17 "And say to him, 'Wouldst thou that thou shouldst be purified (from sin)?- 18 that I might guide you to your Lord, so that you fear (Him)." 19 And he showed him the greatest sign, 20 But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); 21 Then he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 and gathered his people together 23 And he said: I am your Lord, most high. 24 Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present. 25 Verily in this is an instructive warning for whosoever feareth (Allah). 26
