[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
