What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hell-Fire shall be placed in full view for (all) to see,- 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
