[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
