[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
