What! Are ye the more difficult to create or the heaven (above)? (Allah) hath constructed it: 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
