[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when the Great Catastrophe comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 With thy Lord is the Limit fixed therefore. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
