[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 high above? 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Verily the Garden! that shall be his resort. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
