Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They question thee of the Hour: when will its arrival be? 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46
