Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 most surely his abode shall be Paradise. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
