Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
