[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 And from it produced its water and its pasture. 31 then set-up firmly the mountains. 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
