[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 He raised its roof and made it proper. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
