[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 And produced therefrom the water thereof and the pasture thereof, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then, for him who Tagha (transgressed all bounds, in disbelief, oppression and evil deeds of disobedience to Allah). 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
