[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
