[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
