He built it, 27 He raised high its height, then put it into a right good state. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
