Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 But he who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained his self from vain desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
