He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned (his) back, 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 Yet you pay attention 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace). 7 And as for him who cometh unto thee running, 8 And with fear (in his heart), 9 him didst thou disregard! 10 These verses are a reminder 11 For any one who desires to bear it in mind, 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 uplifted, purified, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From Nutfah (male and female semen drops) He created him, and then set him in due proportion; 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 Then when He listeth, He shall raise him to life. 22 Nay, but [man] has never yet fulfilled what He has enjoined upon him! 23 So let man just consider his food: 24 We poured out the rains abundantly, 25 Then We cracked the earth open under pressure (of germination) 26 and therein made the grains to grow 27 And grapes and herbage 28 olives, dates, 29 and dense orchards, 30 and fruits and fodder 31 (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry shall be sounded 33 The day on which a man shall fly from his brother, 34 his mother and his father, 35 his consort, his sons, 36 every man that day shall have business to suffice him. 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
