He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man. 2 And what should teach thee? Perchance he would cleanse him, 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 you attended to him, 6 Though it is not your concern if he should not grow (in fulness). 7 And to him who came to you eagerly 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 For any one who desires to bear it in mind, 12 In honored books, 13 Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Who are noble, virtuous. 16 [But only too often] man destroys himself: how stubbornly does he deny the truth! 17 From what thing doth He create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm! He creates and proportions him, 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 then makes him to die, and buries him, 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Let the human reflect on the food he eats, 24 We poured down rain abundantly, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 to yield therein corn, 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 And gardens, dense with many trees, 30 and fruits and herbage, 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 Mother and father, 35 wife and sons, 36 on that Day, to every one of them will his own state be of sufficient concern. 37 Faces on that Day shall be beaming, 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones. 42
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
