He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ (The Prophet) frowned and turned away, 1 Because a blind man came to him. 2 Yet for all thou didst know, [O Muhammad,] he might perhaps have grown in purity, 3 Or take heed and so the reminder might avail him? 4 As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient, 5 You pay full attention, 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 And as to him who comes to you striving hard, 8 and in awe of God 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 Noble and righteous. 16 Man is (self-)destroyed: how ungrateful! 17 From what did He create him? 18 From a (sperm) drop He created him and then determined him, 19 Then the way He made easy. 20 Then causeth him to die, and burieth him; 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will resurrect him (again). 22 No indeed! Man has not accomplished His bidding. 23 Let man reflect on the food he eats. 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 then caused the grain to grow out of it, 27 And grapes and herbage 28 And olives and date-palms, 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 And fruits and Abba (herbage, etc.), 31 [As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock. 32 But, when the Blast comes, 33 That Day shall a man flee from his brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 his wife and his children. 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Some faces on that day shall shine 38 Laughing, joyous. 39 And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust. 40 Blackness will cover them: 41 these, these will be the ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity! 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
