He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). 2 How canst thou know, whether haply he might be cleansed, 3 Or that he may accept advice, so the advice may benefit him. 4 As for him who regardeth himself self-sufficient 5 Unto him thou payest regard. 6 And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself 7 But as for him who cometh unto thee with earnest purpose 8 And whereas he fears, 9 you ignore him. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 so let those who want to follow its guidance do so. 12 On honoured leaves 13 Exalted and purified, 14 In the hands of scribes 15 Honourable and Pious and Just. 16 Woe to man! What hath made him reject Allah; 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 Out of a sperm-drop did He create him and then determined a measure for him, 19 and then made the course of life easy for him, 20 Then He caused him to die and made him to be buried. 21 and He will resurrect him whenever He wants. 22 Nay; but he has not done what He bade him. 23 Let man reflect on the food he eats. 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then We split the earth properly. 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 together with grapes and vegetables, 28 And olive-trees and palm-trees 29 Orchards thick with trees, 30 And fruits and fodder: 31 for you and for your animals to enjoy. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 his mother and his father, 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 For every one of them on that Day shall be business enough to occupy 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 some faces on that day shall be dusty 40 Darkness shall cover them. 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
