He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The Prophet frowned and turned away 1 that the blind man came to him. 2 You never know. Perhaps he wanted to purify himself, 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 you attended to him, 6 And no blame is on you if he would not purify himself 7 And for him who came to you striving, 8 And he fears, 9 you ignore him. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 13 most exalted and purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 Man is (self-)destroyed: how ungrateful! 17 [Does man ever consider] out of what substance [God] creates him? 18 From a drop of liquid; He created him and then set several measures for him. 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 Then when He pleases, He will raise him to life again. 22 Certainly, he has not duly fulfilled His commands. 23 Then let man look at his food, 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And olives and palms 29 And gardens, dense with many trees, 30 and fruits and pastures 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 upon the day when a man shall flee from his brother, 34 his mother, his father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 On that day, each one has just one issue, which is enough for him. 37 on that Day some faces will be beaming, 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
