The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 the stars are made to fade away, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 And when the seas rise, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 when the buried female infant is asked 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 When the ledgers are laid open, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 when Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. 14 But nay! I swear by the stars, 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 And by the night as it closes in 17 And by the morning when it shineth forth, 18 Truly, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 Obeyed and worthy there of trust. 21 And (O people) your companion (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is not a madman; 22 And of a truth he saw himself on the clear horizon. 23 he is not niggardly of the Unseen. 24 nor is it a word of an accursed Satan. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 This [message] is no less than a reminder to all mankind 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
