The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the sunlight is rolled up. 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 And when the hills are moved, 3 When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; 4 And when the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 And when the written pages of deeds (good and bad) of every person shall be laid open; 10 and when heaven is laid bare, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 And when the garden is brought nigh, 13 [then] each soul shall know what it has put forward. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 the runners, the sinkers, 16 And the night when it departs, 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 having power, with the Lord of the Throne secure, 20 there he is obeyed and held trustworthy. 21 Nor is your companion distracted. 22 And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. 25 Whither then go ye? 26 This is nothing but a Reminder to the worlds, 27 to everyone of you who wills to walk a straight way. 28 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. 29
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
