Al-Takweer
The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is folded up, 1 when the stars shall be thrown down, 2 when the mountains shall be set in motion, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 the oceans are brought to a boil, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 And the little girl buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was killed, 9 And when the pages are laid open, 10 And when the heaven is torn away. 11 and Hell is stoked, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 Then every soul will know what it had prepared for itself. 14 No! I swear by the slinkers, 15 orbiting, disappearing; 16 And the night when it departs, 17 and the morning when it extends, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 The processor of strength, having an honorable place with the Lord of the Dominion, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 And this Prophet is not miserly upon the hidden. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Where then will you go? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 for whosoever of you who would go straight; 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
