The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be folded up, 1 And when the stars shall fall; 2 And when the mountains are made to pass away, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 And when wild animals are herded together. 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 When the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like); 7 And when the girl-child who was buried alive is asked. 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 when the scrolls shall be unrolled, 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; 12 And Paradise brought near, 13 then every soul will discover the consequence of its deeds. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 stars which are visible during the night 16 and the night that falls, 17 and the morn as it softly breathes: 18 Most surely it is the Word of an honored messenger, 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 [the word] of one to be heeded, and worthy of trust! 21 And your companion is not gone mad. 22 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is this [message] the word of any satanic force accursed. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is naught but an admonition unto the worlds 27 For him among you who pleases to go straight. 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. 29
God the Almighty always says the truth.
