The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 And when the stars fall, 2 and the mountains have been taken, 3 When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 And when the souls he paired, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 When Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when the Garden shall be brought nigh, 13 (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward. 14 But nay! I swear by the stars, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 by the night swarming, 17 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;- 18 Verily this is the word of a noble message-bearer; 19 who is honored in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 Your Companion is not mad, 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 He is not avid of the Unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 Where then are you going? 26 Verily, this (the Quran) is no less than a Reminder to (all) the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 27 For the one among you who wishes to become upright. 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
