Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know of all that you do. 12 Verily, the Abrar (pious and righteous) will be in delight (Paradise); 13 But the wicked, indeed they shall be in the Fiery Furnace, 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 nor shall they ever be absent from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
