Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! What is it that lures you away from your bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 the virtuous will dwell in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
